Universal Credit (Full Service) will go live in Pembrokeshire – September 2018.

That means no new claims of:

• Child Tax Credit
• Housing Benefit
• Income Support
• Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
• Working Tax Credit

Instead you will be expected to claim Universal Credit.

This is a big change and we have teamed up with Pembrokeshire County Council, the Department of Work and Pensions and Citizens Advice Pembrokeshire to help tenants get ready.

We will be visiting the largest affected areas on board Dot.e our Digi Bus, providing Universal Credit advice and support to anyone that pops along.

On top of the 5 areas we are visiting with PCC, DWP & CAB, we are also visiting 18 ateb streets all across Pembrokeshire answering your Universal Credit queries. On-board Dot.e will be Tom our Digital Support Officer plus one other member of staff who will be happy to help.

We have the motto ‘don’t be scared, be prepared’ – and we genuinely mean it! If you make a few small changes now in preparation for Universal Credit, then when it arrives in September it wont be as bad as you think.
