The first 20 properties being built at the site in Thornton Road have now become new homes for our customers. On this, the first stage of the current development scheme, 59 new homes will be completed with the next 10 hopefully being ready by the beginning of May. Three Meadows, Haverfordwest – Area 3
As can been seen from these aerial shots there has been a lot of progress in a few months at the current development on the large plot of land in Albert Town, Haverfordwest 87 new homes are being built.
The building contract has been awarded to Hale Construction Ltd who have worked with us previously on several schemes including Middlehill, Saundersfoot and Howells Close, Monkton. There will be a phased completion of the properties with the first of these expected in the Summer 2019. More information from our Lettings team.

Maes Yr Ysgol, Johnston – Area 3
Tycroes Group Ltd have completed the building of 26 new homes in Johnston at Maes Yr Ysgol and the people moving in seemed very happy. A member of the Property Services team and the Area Officer will be arranging to revisit everyone very soon to get their feedback.
Brook Close, Steynton – Area 3
Work continues on the 10 new properties being built at Brooke Close. These houses will be general needs and are being built by Hale Construction who were the contractors on the first phase of the development that included the new homes Derwent Avenue. Peter Owen is again the Development Officer overseeing this and they are expected to be completed at the end of July or early August 2019.

Square & Compass – Area 5
Following on from the successful purchase of ateb’s first solar village, Ty Solar in Glanrhyd, ateb are proud that the 2 pairs of semi-detached houses at Bro Heulog, Penparc (Square & Compass) is complete and the four families have moved in. The special thing about these homes that are situated off the gas grid is that the primary source of heating will be from electricity powered by the sun. The energy usage of each home will be closely monitored to ensure the systems give the greatest benefits to both those living in them and for the environment. We have been able to achieve this due to funding with help from the Welsh Government Innovative Housing Grant and they were built by the same people to the similar design as Ty Solar – why not click here for a better view?
Grove Crescent, Jameston – Area 2
Work has now started on the small site at Jameston where it’s planned for 3 bungalows. The homes are being built by WB Griffiths & Son Ltd and as soon as we have some more photos we will upload them so that you can see the progress. It’s anticipated that they will be ready for occupation before the end of Autumn 2019. Follow the link for a site plan.

Maes Yr Odyn, Narberth – Area 3
Another affordable element opportunity has arisen in a private development in Narberth. The first four properties will be purchased by ateb from Persimmon this month (April) this purchase will be followed by various other new homes that will become available as the construction of the development progresses.
