A Fresh New Look for De Clare Court Roundabout

Customers at De Clare Court have begun creating a new, brighter, and more welcoming outdoor space, thanks to support from Rosco Tree Services as part of their Community Benefit Programme 2026.

The roundabout area at the front of De Clare Court forms the first impression for customers, visitors, and members of the public. Over time, the old water feature had become non-operational and difficult to maintain, leaving the space looking tired and overgrown.

Thanks to the work carried out by Rosco Tree Services, the space has now been transformed into an area that customers can once again take pride in.

The project involved removing the old fountain and preparing the space for a new, environmentally friendly by planting wildflower seeds. These improvements aim to create a calm and attractive environment that supports wellbeing, boosts biodiversity, and encourages local wildlife to thrive.

The work was delivered as part of Rosco Tree Services’ Community Benefit Programme, which focuses on giving back to local communities through practical support. This can include improvements to shared spaces, support for community groups, and the donation of time, labour, materials, and equipment.

At De Clare Court, Rosco Tree Services provided in-kind support by contributing staff time, labour, and equipment to help bring the project to life.

Customers shared how much the improvements mean to them. One said:

“The fountain hasn’t worked in a long time, and there have always been issues with it; in the end, it just started looking scruffy and overgrown.”

The improvements have already sparked inspiration across the site, with catering staff looking forward to seeing the space develop:

“I’m looking forward to watching the flowers grow. I’m planning on adding poppy and cornflower seeds so we can enjoy them every year.”

The work was completed by Rosco Tree Services through their Community Benefit Programme, which focuses on giving something positive back to local communities through practical support, improvements to shared spaces, and donated time and resources.

Ben from Rosco Tree Services said:

“I’m happy to help where I can. I set aside a couple of days each year to give back to the community. We work on a range of projects, from schools to different properties with ateb and the council. It’s always good to give something back.”

Small improvements can make a big difference. By creating attractive, welcoming outdoor spaces, projects like this help build community pride while supporting wellbeing and the local environment.

We look forward to seeing how it develops.
