We’re delighted to announce that ateb has secured funding from The National Lottery Community Fund through its Awards for All programme to deliver a new project called Digital Inclusion Through Accessible Technology.
The project will help remove barriers to digital access by providing equipment and support to customers who need it. Over the next two years, the funding will enable us to support up to 100 ateb customers with digital devices, helping them access online services, stay connected and build confidence using technology.
As more services move online, we recognise that not everyone has access to the equipment or support they need. This project will help more customers access services such as My ateb Account, find information and support, and develop everyday digital skills.

Andrew Jenkins, Community Welfare Coordinator at ateb, said:
“Being online is now an important part of everyday life, but we know some customers face barriers to accessing digital services. This funding will help us provide both the technology and support needed to build confidence and independence.”
“Through our digital inclusion vehicle, Dot.e, we can bring support directly to customers in their communities. Dot.e has its own training space, allowing us to provide one-to-one help with things like setting up a My ateb Account, accessing online services and developing digital skills. We’re incredibly grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund for making this possible.”
The funding is another step forward in our commitment to creating better opportunities for customers and ensuring more people can benefit from the services and opportunities available online.
A huge thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund and National Lottery players whose support has made this project possible.
