We’re excited to launch our brand-new Customer Committee – and we need ateb customers like you to help make it a success!
At ateb, we believe better living starts with better decisions. That’s why we’re creating new ways for customers to have a direct say in shaping our services and influencing the decisions that matter.
What is the Customer Committee?
The Customer Committee will work closely with our Board to make sure the voices, experiences and ideas of customers are heard and acted on. Committee members will help shape key policies, review service performance and have a real say in how we deliver the things that matter most to our communities.
Whether you’ve been actively involved before or you’re completely new to this kind of role – if you care about your community and want to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Why Join?
By joining the Customer Committee, you’ll:
- ✅ Help shape ateb’s future services and decisions
- ✅ Represent your fellow customers and communities
- ✅ Build your confidence and develop new skills
- ✅ Receive £50 per formal meeting you attend
- ✅ Access training and personal development opportunities
- ✅ Have your travel expenses covered for training and events
You’ll attend up to four meetings a year, plus other exciting opportunities to get involved in customer events and Board-level activities.
How to Apply
It’s simple! To apply, all you need to do is send us a short statement (up to one side of A4) answering these three questions:
1 – What motivated you to apply to the Committee?
2 – How would you represent the voice of ateb customers?
3 – What skills or experiences would you bring to the Committee?
Please send your answers by email to [email protected] by Monday 21st July 2025 (9:30am).

What Happens Next?
Once the closing date passes, we’ll be in touch to let you know if you’ve been invited to an informal interview during the week starting Monday 18th August 2025.
Don’t worry – the interview is simply a chance for us to get to know you better and for you to ask us any questions. We want the process to be welcoming and supportive.
Everyone’s Voice Matters
We’re keen to hear from customers of all ages, backgrounds and experiences. Whether you’ve used our services recently or in the past, your perspective could help us improve what we do for thousands of people across West Wales.
So, if you’re ready to help shape the future of ateb, we’d love you to apply. Your voice can make a real difference.
