ateb launches new partnership with Futureworks to support local job seekers

We’ve teamed up with Futureworks to help more people across West Wales take their next step into work.

As part of this new partnership, our team will attend practical sessions and offer down-to-earth support for those who need it.  Whether it’s help with applications, CVs, interview prep, or understanding how to apply for roles with us, we’ll be there to lend a hand.

Our first session took place recently, with People Advisor Kate sharing her insight into the recruitment process and chatting with anyone interested in working at ateb or in the wider housing sector.

The partnership has been brought together by Adam, our Learning & Development Partner, who has been working closely with Futureworks to strengthen local employment opportunities.

What Kate had to say:

“It was great to meet people who are trying to take that next step. Sometimes a bit of reassurance and clear guidance can make all the difference, and I was glad to talk through what we look for at ateb and how to put together a strong application. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this partnership helps people build their confidence and move into roles they’ll thrive in.”

Adam added:

“Futureworks share our commitment to helping people realise their potential, so this partnership felt like a natural fit. By bringing our recruitment and development experience directly to job seekers, we hope to remove some of the barriers people face when applying for work. This is just the start, and I’m excited to see the positive outcomes we can achieve together.”

Our Futureworks sessions will continue throughout the year, offering support with interview preparation, applications and CV writing.

The next session takes place on Tuesday 16th December at Milford Library.
