Connecting with our Cromwell Heights and Marble Hall Road community

Yesterday, members of our team took part in a walkabout and litter pick around Cromwell Heights and Marble Hall Road to help strengthen connections with customers and better understand the local environment.

Jess, our Housing Coordinator who has been supporting this area since 2022, joined the visit to engage with customers, listen to concerns, and continue building those all-important relationships.

Katie, our new Housing Solutions Manager, also joined the team, taking the opportunity to speak with customers and hear first-hand about some of the challenges they’re facing.

While these conversations were happening, Andrew our Community Welfare Coordinator was on hand to offer one-to-one digital support to customers who aren’t yet signed up to a My ateb Account or don’t have an email address registered with us. He explained the benefits of getting connected and helped customers take the first step.

Meanwhile, a wider team of ateb colleagues rolled up their sleeves to collect litter from communal areas and the car park, noting any repairs or improvements needed by our property teams.

We were really pleased to see at least three customers come out to speak with us about how they manage their refuse. They shared good practice, asked questions, and worked with us to help find solutions – showing the kind of positive partnership we love to see.

Amy, Housing Solutions Team Leader commented: “At ateb, we’re committed to putting customers at the heart of everything we do. Events like this walkabout are key to helping us understand and improve the communities in which our customers live.”

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us, it really does make a difference.
