Do You Need Help Registering to Vote? Andrew’s Here to Assist.

At ateb Group we believe everyone should have the chance to make their voice heard – and that starts with being able to register to vote. But we know going online isn’t easy for everyone.

That’s why Andrew, our Community Welfare Coordinator, is offering FREE support to help people register to vote online. With practical help every step of the way.

Why It Matters

To vote in local or national elections in the UK, you must be on the electoral register. You only need to register once, unless you change your name or address. It usually takes about five minutes to complete online and you’ll just need a few key details such as your National Insurance number and date of birth.

Being on the register doesn’t just give you a say in elections, it can also improve your credit rating and make it easier to access other services.

Who Can Register

In Wales, anyone aged 14 or over can register, although you must be 16 or older to vote in most elections. You can register if you are a British, Irish, EU or qualifying Commonwealth citizen living here.

How Andrew Can Help

If getting online feels difficult or you don’t have the right tools, Andrew can support you through:

  • Loan devices such as tablets, laptops or smartphones
  • Free data SIMs if you don’t have internet access
  • One-to-one support at home, guiding you through the online registration form
  • Wider digital skills support so you feel confident online beyond just voting

No one should miss out on registering because online tasks feel tricky – and Andrew is here to make it easier. If you’d like support, send a message or get in touch directly.
